(SCROLL DOWN TO LEARN MORE)

THIS SURVEY IS NOW CLOSED. THANK YOU TO ALL WHO PARTICIPATED.

About the Survey

Kelsey Theatre has been empowering people through the arts for over 45 years, but the coronavirus pandemic and resulting economic shut down has forced us to go dark for the first time in our history.
Now, our team is working hard to develop new policies and procedures that will allow us to reopen in January of 2021 and provide a safe environment in which the community can practice social distancing while watching and participating in exciting live theater productions.

Your input through this survey will be incredibly valuable as we strive to reopen Kelsey Theatre and provide the services our community has come to know and love. All theater-lovers in New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, and New York City (whether patrons of our theater or not) are encouraged to participate.

The following survey should only take about 10 minutes of your time. We thank you in advance for your assistance.

New Kelsey Theatre Safety Polices for Patrons

  • High-contact surfaces within the theater (counters, railings, handles, armrests, restrooms, water fountains etc.) will be disinfected before and after each performance and intermission.
Theater staff will be required to wear masks and gloves.
  • Patrons will be required to have their temperature scanned at the door and those with temps over 100.4 will not be permitted to enter the building.

  • Patrons will be required to wear a face-covering and practice social distancing in order to enter the theater and attend the show. (Or they must demonstrate medical need to not wear a mask.)

  • Seating will be limited to every other seat and every other row, thus reducing capacity to 25% of the house.

  • Only new, untouched, or online playbills will be made available to patrons.

  • No refreshments will be sold in the lobby beyond the vending machines.

  • No gala reception will be held after opening night. Friends and family waiting for performers must do so outside the theater.

  • Hand sanitizer stations or wipes will be made available to patrons in the lobby and in the theater auditorium.

  • The lobby will be limited to no more than 25 people at any given moment and additional time will be allotted for intermissions to allow for use of restrooms.

  • Anyone not following the rules will be asked to leave.
